Villa Gendang

About this Villa

Villa Gendang is a spacious five-bedroom retreat in the heart of Seminyak, designed for relaxed group stays with a calm residential feel despite being close to Bali’s most popular dining and beach areas. The villa combines open-air living with generous indoor spaces, creating an easy rhythm for shared holidays without feeling crowded or over-designed.

Large social areas, a long private pool, and flexible bedroom arrangements make Villa Gendang especially well suited to extended families and groups of friends travelling together. The atmosphere feels private and comfortable, with practical layouts that encourage both quiet downtime and social moments throughout the day.

The five bedrooms at Villa Gendang are spread across separate pavilion-style spaces, giving guests a greater sense of privacy while still keeping everyone connected. Each room includes a king-sized bed, air conditioning, and its own ensuite bathroom, making the setup practical for couples, multi-generational families, or groups of friends sharing the villa together.

Several bedrooms open directly toward the pool or garden areas, creating an easy indoor-outdoor flow that suits Bali living particularly well. The bathrooms are spacious and cleanly designed, with a mix of indoor and semi-open layouts that add comfort without feeling overly formal or staged.

The outdoor spaces are centred around a long private swimming pool bordered by tropical greenery and stone pathways. Sun loungers and shaded seating areas give guests different places to relax throughout the day, whether that means quiet mornings by the water or evenings spent gathering outdoors after dinner.

A covered terrace beside the pool creates a comfortable transition between the villa’s indoor and outdoor areas. The garden layout feels open yet private, allowing larger groups to spread out naturally while still enjoying a connected holiday atmosphere in Seminyak.

Inside, Villa Gendang focuses on easy communal living with large open-plan spaces designed for spending time together comfortably. The living area combines soft seating, natural textures, and garden views, creating a relaxed environment that works equally well for casual afternoons or shared evening meals.

The fully equipped kitchen and generous dining space are positioned at the centre of the villa, encouraging guests to gather naturally throughout the day. Rather than feeling overly polished or formal, the interiors feel practical, airy, and genuinely comfortable for longer stays with family or friends.

Guests staying at Villa Gendang are supported by attentive housekeeping staff who help maintain the villa daily, keeping shared spaces clean and organised throughout the stay. The service style remains discreet and relaxed, helping guests enjoy the villa without unnecessary interruptions.

Our Villa Finder Concierge team is also available to assist with practical holiday arrangements in Seminyak, including airport transfers, in-villa massages, private chefs, car hire, or restaurant bookings. We help simplify the planning side of the trip so guests can spend more time enjoying Bali together comfortably.

The villa is located within easy reach of many of Seminyak’s most popular restaurants, boutiques, cafes, and beach clubs. Guests can quickly access areas such as Seminyak Beach, Petitenget, and Eat Street, making it convenient for both relaxed beach days and evenings out.

Despite being close to lively dining and shopping areas, the villa itself feels pleasantly tucked away from the busiest streets. This balance between convenience and privacy is one of the reasons larger groups often enjoy staying in this part of Bali.
